DCF Webinar on CCRSA Grant Program for Childcare and Afterschool Programs

The Department for Children and Families (DCF) will run a grant program for childcare and afterschool programs to support the additional costs providing care to Vermont’s children due to COVID-19. The federal allocation for this grant program is $12.2 million dollars from the Coronavirus Response and Relief Supplemental Appropriations Act (CRRSA). Monthly allocations will begin in April and run through December for eligible programs. Grant applications are due March 31, 2021. The total grant awarded to each program will be dependent on the number of applications and information collected in the applications. An informational webinar to learn about eligibility, application process and grant criteria will be held on Tuesday, March 16th from 1:00-2:00 pm hosted by Building Bright Futures with representatives from the Department for Children and Families.
