Central Vermont Regional Recap, December 2019

Significant excitement and progress continues in the region around perinatal mental health work. New partnerships and initiatives are being developed to elevate knowledge and competencies around perinatal mood and anxiety disorders or PMADs. Collaboration with the state STAMPP grant as well as the Department of Health’s Breastfeeding master plan is ongoing.

We’re pleased with the continuing conversations with Northern Lights about what trainings early childhood providers may need in the region, as well as different types of delivery collaborations for professional development.

The preparations for our Dabble Day in Barre have already begun and we are excited about continuing this strong community tradition.

Our council was able to support Early MTSS training for the full staff at the Family Center of Washington County, as well as a vibrant training with Scott Noyes at the Montpellier Children’s School. Thanks to Tina Grant for bringing so many early childhood superstars together!
