January 13, 2025 @ 12:00 pm – 1:30 pm
Join Building Bright Futures and Vermont’s Early Childhood Data & Policy Center on Monday, January 13, 2025, at 12 p.m. for a virtual briefing to mark the release of The State of Vermont’s Children: 2024 Year in Review.
At the start of each year, The State of Vermont’s Children report provides Vermont’s policymakers, educators, caregivers, health practitioners, business leaders, and community members with an objective, data-driven assessment of the well-being of young children and families in Vermont and highlights the annual recommendations from Vermont’s Early Childhood State Advisory Council Network. As the title indicates, this report provides a snapshot of the state of Vermont’s children and families. It includes data on access to basic needs, child welfare rates, and utilization of mental health services and offers an in-depth look at each of Vermont’s 12 regions.
The 2024 report will be available for download on January 13, and reports from 2015–2023 are available here. If you’d like to receive a free paper copy of our 2024 report, you can request a hard copy here.
