Tune-in for updates about Vermont’s Child Care and Early Childhood Education Systems Analysis
Vermont’s Child Care and Early Childhood Education Systems Analysis(ECSA) is underway and now is the time to tune-in to provide input at upcoming Building Bright Futures Regional Council meetings. The Systems Analysis was called for in legislation under Act 45 (H171, an Act relating to child care systems and financing) to improve the functionality of Vermont’s child care and early childhood services and systems. In 2021, BBF contracted with Foresight Law + Policy and Watershed Advisors to conduct the ECSA on behalf of the State of Vermont.
The Foresight/Watershed team is supporting Vermont with the critical charge of examining the systems that govern and administer child care and early childhood education programs in Vermont, and make recommendations for how the state approaches to improve the functionality of services and systems that will promote optimal outcomes for children and families.
Upcoming Opportunities to be Involved in the Systems Analysis
Each of the meetings will feature an update on the ECSA and is open to the public. Anyone invested in improving the lives of children prenatal through age 8 and their families are welcome to attend. The feedback shared during these meetings will then be collected to inform the final report.
