Lamoille Regional Council Recap – January 2018
In the Lamoille Region we’re looking forward to two upcoming Dabble Days at which we’ll be spreading the word about Help Me Grow. This will be a great opportunity to engage families in learning about their child’s development and how to get connected to local resources and services.
At recent meetings, the Council emphasized the urgent need to continue to support our existing child care businesses who are serving kids in our community now. As we work together to address the child care capacity crisis, we need to invest in those delivering services as much as we need to encourage new businesses.
The Lamoille Council is pleased to be supporting parent education at the Lamoille Family Center, and hopeful about collaborative work to start an open gym program in Hardwick. The council was also excited to have met the new Resource Advisor from CCV/Northern Lights, Sara LeBlanc, at their January council meeting.
