Early Childhood Mental Health Consultation at Rutland Mental Health

Early Childhood Mental Health Consultation is a problem solving intervention in which a consultant partners with families, child care center staff, or concerned team members to improve their abilities to identify and reduce the impact of social/emotional difficulties for children birth to age 6 and their families.

Through the Children’s Integrated Services partnership, Rutland Mental Health offers ECMH Consultation for Individual children  (with parental involvement/consent, Classroom/program strategies, Staff Training, Occasional or ongoing support, and Information on early childhood social and emotional topics.
